Don't worry....I have LOTS & LOTS. lol

I see a ton of broody scovey mommas in your future! lol

Yeah....I collect eggs two or three times a day to prevent that. I do have one 8 year old that HAS to sit. So every summer I let her. I usually buy some goose or other type of waterfowl eggs for her. I think this year I will try a new breed of geese or a bantam duck of some sort. I haven't decided yet. But Muscovies are the best brooders they are!

Some of my Scovy hens have gotten sneaky!!  They've started to lay in areas where we can't reach!  I have 19 hens and 7 drakes.  6 of my hens are broody under our parrot house porch where we can't get them.  Little turdy birdy's!!  lol

lol Luckily, mine are penned most of the time. Unluckily, I'm 5.5 months preggo and cannot lift their shelters to check or eggs or crawl in there anymore. However Cash (one of our dogs) has been going in and VERY gently bringing me the eggs every night. big_smile I need to get a video of him.

NO chickens. smile Sorry!

Let's just be patient and see if anyone jumps on these Cayugas...honestly, I am VERY tempted but I need to stick to the FOUR pens I have now and my DH would NOT be happy if I was adding more breeds to my flock. lol
