Waterfowl Only Egg Swap! - Page 22

Geese should be laying now, right?  This thread probably needs to be jumpstarted since I think GoFasterStripe has divested herself of ducks since last season.  My mallard-types go into the breeding pens next month so all I have that's pure to offer are a few Muscovy eggs at the moment.  If enough folks are ready to play I'll kick off the season with an offer, if not we'll wait a bit.

This season lets make a "rule" you should post photos and state if they are show quality, breeder quality or pet quality. Also if NPIP or not. Just a suggestion.

What color Muscovy are you offering?

I will be on/off BYC. If we owe you hatching eggs, please forward us the listing information. We are almost caught up on them and do not wish to miss anyone. Geese are now laying!

Jim, I think all those things are great! I try to do that anyway.

I haven't actually made my offer yet, but the muscovy are white french production. Once it looks like folks are ready to get started I'll be happy to kick off the season. Its just tough to plan for the eggs this early when your offer hangs in the air for weeks on end.

All my ducks have started laying for the year, and I'm ready to start playing! tongue.png

Anyone else ready to kick things off for the year?

I was ready... then my muscovy girls stopped laying on me.  Totally bummed.  But soon I'll have all my mallard types in their breeding pens for the season and I'll be ready to roll!
