Oregon Fall Poultry Swap - October 22 - Corvallis @ the Fairgrounds!!! - Page 219

[[[[.......Do many people bring ducks?......]]]]]

I raise ducks, but won't be bringing any unless there is a request for them.

All my extras are going to be safely tucked into their icy little beds within the next 2 weeks.  The only thing I will have for sale is a couple of pairs of exhibition potential Silver Appleyards, or an exhibition Silver Appleyard Drake with a Snowy Appleyard duck (show stock, but not a recognized color, brought from Ohio).

Some of us are exchanging iris rhizomes, if you want to get in to that you are welcome to join that swap.

Exhibition quality Blue Swedish Ducks and Gray Saddleback Pomeranian Geese,   Hatching eggs available in late winter and spring. NPIP

It appears I am breaking my word - again - lol and putting a bantam pullet on my wanting list. Sylvia, my 5 month old black Sizzle from newtochick, is all alone  sad  I moved the special needs chick she came with in with my other special needs chickens and so far, I have not been able to find one cage that likes Sylvia.  She isn't mean, quite the opposite - she is too nice.  Not even Zephyr or Napoleon - who LOVES all women lol - wants her.  I could rehome her but I'm rather attached to her so I'd rather find her a cage mate.  I'm not going to risk putting her out with my established flock of layers outside since she isn't getting along with anyone and they can be rather ruthless with newbies.  I don't really care what breed though it must be something calm because it will be in a large indoor cage situation. My only requirements are it must be a girl and hasn't been outside at all.  A Silkie would be perfect.
