Do you need a license to sell chicks?

If I decided to breed chickens, would I need some sort of license to sell the chicks? Thank you.

Check with your state department of agriculture and county health department. In WA you can sell hatching eggs, chicks, or live chickens of any age without a permit. But I suppose some counties or states might have different requirements.
