We threw one in this evening and our week old chicks kinda pecked at it and it flew away!  Maybe next time I will kill it first!

Chicken math is true.  We just received another 6 chicks on 4/1/13.  3 Cuckoo Marans and 3 Buff Orpingtons.

Oh, they are very real and very ugly, stinky, and destructive. Do a Google search for Brown Marmorated Stinkbug.

They only stink if you step on 'em.

I'll have to try the stink bugs...   Right now my chicks are loving the craneflies and mayflies that are hatching all over the place, not to mention all the grubs I'm finding in my garden

Tonight I tried plain pasta.  A few of them went after it, but for the most part they ignored it.  Maybe its because they are only 9 days old??  hu
