Hi everyone,

We want to plants trees and other plants in our yard this spring, but want to make sure we aren't planting anything that will harm our new babies!  Any suggestions or tales of caution??

Thanks a lot!  :o)

Thanks!  Any suggestions on good plants or trees for them?  We want to get some fruit trees, so any ideas would be helpful!  :o)

Wow, that's a long list.
How likely are they to eat something they shouldn't?  To what extent do they just know what is and isn't edible?

Chickens are pretty smart when it comes to plants...they usually know by instinct what's good for them and what's not.

Sorry, I know this is a really old post, but one of the links listed above was to my old blog, Hanbury House, but it is no longer at the location posted by II.  It is the same stuff, but the new location is at hanburyhouse.com I have another post there about toxic plants and chickens, written for my region of the country, Poisonous Plants.
