No need to try to tame these, they are naturally easy to handle. If you like chickens that are under your feet, these are for you. Excellent layers of big, brown eggs.
My birds came directly from Gary Underwood, a master breeder. This line has been in his family since 1914 with only 2 out crosses. They have a nice, straight back, good leg color and the red extender gene that makes them very dark.
