So it occured to me to reach out to this group to find someone to give them to. I hope someone can take them.

2 Wyandotte hens
1 Beautiful iridescent brown hen

We are about 5 miles west of Boston. Can anyone give them a new home?

Besides posting here, you might also post in the Animals in Need of Free Rehoming, and try also on Craigslist for Boston in both the free and Farm groups. And there is a Facebook MA Backyard Chicken Owners, where you could post. I have not used or joined the Facebook group, so I don't know the folks there. It's separate from this group.

Best wishes finding good homes. The other alternative is an animal shelter. Angell Memorial has Nevins farm where chickens could go to wait for adoption.
