Now everytime I get a strange twinge I get all paranoid and wonder if its another attack!lol.I sure need to get some weight off and get more excerise and eat right but its hard to break lifelong habits.

NN I'm like cowboy,I remember seeing it somewhere that there are some  NN pigeons  in the U>S> now. seems like it was an ad or something. I think they would be cool! I'd like to give those frillbacks a try. Been keeping my eyes open for a couple of years but have not seen any around here.

I finally got all my ornamental grasses cut back today. Its taken several hitches to get it done. I counted when I got thru. I thought I had around 30 clumps, but I have 65 clumps! 4 different kinds. Supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow! That ought to bring everything to life. I got onion sets planted yesterday!

 cowboy,you take it easy now!

Tell me about it Wayne, I am almost afraid to go to bed because had a few pains earlier. The mind can and does more harm than good lots of time. Yes I know about lifelong habits. My triglycerides was 9360 last week when they checked them. The lady that talks to me about that said the only way that I would ever get that down to normal would be to become a vegan, I told her I most likely was a goner than because that aint happening. I will cut out all fatty meat like beef and pork, but I aint giving up the poultry and fish. Yes my doctors tell me each visit how me being fat has caused a huge part of my health problems. I get tired of hearing it and tell him I know I am fat, I aint stupid, I come see him for the stuff I dont know, just fix it and save the speech. After todays call, I probable will try to follow some advise now.

I can't even call you all old LOL I will be 51 in May, Several years ago I had some chest pains on a number of occasions once at work when it got really bad I went into the bathroom and locked myself inside, Considering where I work I really didn't want anyone there trying to save me if it was "the big one" and of course it wasn't, I gave up coffee that year when the weather was hot and have ever since and I haven't had it happen again, however after the first few times I did go see my Doctor and my EKG was abnormal he referred me to a cardiologist who said I had had a heart attack but it didn't do any damage so that was a good thing, Every year as spring is ending and the really warm weather is starting I give up coffee and so far it's worked, this year I started back to drinking it and just don't have the same taste for it, I'll have some but don't go out of my way to any more it's probably been a couple weeks since I had any I think maybe it's cause I quit smoking (also good for my ticker) that I don't ever just feel like I need to have coffee like I used to. Not sleeping at night regular like I should be able to is also bad on the heart and like tonight there is just nothing I can so about not being able to sleep it either happens or it don't LOL I have the alarm set for 5am it sure gets hard to wake up when you just went to sleep it's kind of like a paradox the later it gets the more I stress about hearing the alarm when it rings the less likely it is I will sleep but I'll try again in a bit LOL

For some reason the bare tail on rats bug me but that is a beautiful rat. His/her coat is so luxurious. I know they are smart and clean, really neat pets but the tail and our cats keep me away.

NNBreeder, Love that little Chinchilla :) Gray is my all time favorite animal color, too. That's why the 1st chickens I picked for myself were Blue Cochins. I've got 2 solid gray dogs and 3 of my 4 cats are gray.

Welcome to the club, Cowboy! I had a massive heart attack back in 2003 (they had to jump start me three times), and here I am 9 years later still going strong, getting into trouble and enjoying life. I can tell you from experience, if you didn't know you had it, it probably wasn't a bad one. At least not bad enough to do a huge amount of damage to your ticker, which is the primary concern after surviving one. Me, I'm operating on 3/4 of a heart, as 1/4 of it is covered in dead tissue. Damage to yours was probably minimal.

Heart medicine has come a long way. Just do what your doc says (except the vegan part... fish is probably the best thing for you, and chicken won't hurt you as long as you don't fry it), take your meds, and you can work out just fine.

Aren't you on a bunch of different heart meds? Take care of yourself, please. Your family needs you!

Well you take care of yourself Cowboy.
