Not outside yet, but about to eat brunch then head out. I was ordering lawn mower parts & some other much needed items now I am finished with my online shopping for the day.  DH has tore up 3 different things on the mower & it is only March!  Everytime he gets on the mower he seems to break something. I am doing my best to tell him we don't have an all terain mower. He seriously tries to take it all over the farm & not slow down!  I know sometimes it is hard to not hit things when the grass is tall. This weekend when I was using the brush hog I ran over a cinder block, it hardly slowed down & the block came out in a million pieces! I never saw the block, and honestly don't know why it was way out in the field! Today I Have to redo plant labels, some sharpie marker colors have already fadded off. Need to stick to black sharpies only looks like. Also need to thin some herbs I planted. Also going to do some general outside clean up.

Priced out t-post, TSC is the cheapest, but Lowes actually comes out cheaper when we use the military discount. We need about 250 post I think, hate when the small stuff adds up to BIG money!

I have a question for you broody masters, I found a single chicken poop in the run that is literally almost the size of my fist, does that mean I have a broody?  There is a girl sitting on the nest right now, but I don't know if she is just there to lay an egg or if she is trying to set.  When I got close she didn't growl or anything, but I NEVER put my hand under a chicken for an egg, when Gary gets home if she is still on the nest I'll get him to reach under her and see if she growls.  If I do in fact have a broody hen  fl.gif  I am going to NEED some NN eggs.

Thinking about broody and "pms" made me wonder would raspberry leaves help "women's issues" for hens like it does for humans? Hmmmmm Might be worth me trying since I raise my own raspberry plants for their leaves.
