Maybe I should stack a couple of the left over rocks in the pen for some birds to roost on.

Dang! That's a good deal.

Do you think the crossbeak is going to be ok? The crossbeak Brahma I had didn't have any problems at all eating, yours must be worse or shaped different.

at least he is honest- if she isn't in pain or uncomfortable, i'd do a little research

my little guy got chilled, his feet were cold, so after a day of heat therapy he is racing around with the others- i am thinking i need to watch him close, maybe suppliment his diet for a bit, he is half the size of the others, and having a 'velosaraptor wantabe' for a broody makes it challenging to do anything with him- fend off her biting while i grab him to feed him...that girl is mean!

A co-worker of my DH, who does dog rescue, said there are 3 chickens at the Animal Control on 29th and Grand. They will be ready for adoption on Sunday - to someone that won't eat them.

Oh, goodness! Did he say what breed they were? My foundation roo went missing. He's a Dominique. I'm going to go down there tomorrow and look at them.

If anyone is having dog training issues, i have an electric training collar I'm selling. It actually has two collars and a 3/4 mile range. I could bring it to poops. Perfect for yard training.

Can't leave with to many, I might get grounded for a while.  I have already bought 23 new chicks this year. I lost 4 and am planning on getting some GLW, Speckled Sussex and some Buff Orphingtons tomorrow.  THat will make 7 more.  If I find a frizzle I think my 5 year old would want I will probably get that though. She is obsessed with getting a frizzle!! lol
