My husband has picked up on chicken math!! I asked him how many chickens he thought we had last night. He said "I think we've got seven." I said "What? Seven? How you figure?" He said "Five Dominiques, a Silkie and a Cochin, right?" I said "Um. . . " he said "Broodies don't count. They're not laying eggs. Roosters don't count. Chicks don't count. Guineas aren't even chickens. So, seven chickens." He's right! Only seven chickens. That's not many at all! Edited for spelling.

My first pepper harvest of the year, I'm so excited about how well they are doing, especially the bells, b/c I've never had any success w/ the bells.  And this isn't even all the different types I planted yet.

i looked, and i dont see how you womens are gonna fit in it?  i mean mabey 1 or 2 , {if one of you is realy small!}  might fit inb it, but no way can ya'll get 4-5 in there for a good ole cat sesion!

Wow Kass, Those peppers are looking good. I havent had much luck with growing good peppers in the past either but this years is a total exception. I had plasticulture installed and all my plants are doing great.Here are a few pic of the garden and some of the veggies so far. Garden pics are about 2 weeks old and the growth has nearly doubled.
