jcatblum: Do guineas ever have frizzle feathers, or is this just a stage they go through?

3 of the 4 chicks went to a poultry auction tonight.  They bought, I didn't.  I am waiting for something great at the NEOCS!  big_smile.png

4 grown children, 6 grandchildren, 8 Lavender Orpingtons, 8 French Black Copper Marans, a trio of Ginger Red OEGB and 2 dachshunds.

Traci, Mike had a frizzled guinea at his place once, but none of my flock is frizzled. You guineas will be in an ugly stage for a few months, then one day you will walk outside & they will look like guineas. Or if you ask the nieghbors boy, they look like dinosaurs. Also, Thursday another buff cochin egg hatched, I was getting ready to toss it & it started chirping! guess your hen started sitting on the other eggs & this egg got snuck in a few days later. I will have to post some pics next wk when I get home. Cathie how is your mom doing? I am exhuasted & heading to bed early, have to be up at day break. good night all!

Had a great night out with three of the four. And yes found me afew treats at the auction. Got to chat with jack a bit. He's a great fella. Ty for inviting me elie

Well that was a two hour ordeal!!!!   Today was chicken moving night, they all went to the new coop, and they weren't happy or cooperative about it!  Hope it's easier tomorrow b/c Gary will be on his own.

Let's take care of the Earth, it is the only planet we know for sure has chocolate.

Don't know if you got a reply or not but it could need its anal sacs expressed. The vet can do that for you it's normal. That or the poor baby might be constipated
