Oh I'm not saying all of them are mean, but it seems like even the ones that like people still won't take crap from the biggest dogs, and are avid hunters. Kind of seems like they keep more of the wild cat in them then other color cats.

I think you're probably okay. I mean if she'd wanted to alter you, she'd have done it by now. Mammals are waaaaaay easier to castrate than birds. :)

I have my chickens in a fenced off area with chicken wire on top. It's not free ranging, but it's better then getting eaten by a predator or my dogs.

I'm not free ranging anything right now. Too sick and tired of feeding the dang coyotes. And pretty much anything is better than gettin' et'.

I'm sure that I'll have eggs in July...just know that 1/3 will be pretty good, lol. Just wanted to give you that disclaimer on my flock of BW Ams...

I'll just give them to you...we will need to figure when you want them that corresponds to a "3rd Saturday" then I can bring them down to New Castle auction for you...

PMing you right now.

Kass, thanks for the link to the Snippin' Thread! I'm going to go read it. And Dubia therapy works wonders, doesn't it??? I don't even go out of my way to tame chicks, I just feed em' bugs and they think humans are awesome.

Jim, don't worry-it's probably just like a goat. They lay on their size in horror (hmmm.....or pain) for 30 minutes and then they're up and at it like nothing happened. After all the hours women have spent in childbirth over the years I can't imagine a little snip while you're wide awake is going to hurt that bad. Sheesh, men are such babies
