You need a "little" dog.. at least ours thinks he is little. Bear is pushing 180 lbs and does not like folks to park in the road.. if someone parks out there they must be up to no good and are not allowed to walk into the yard. A dog like that barking and growling at you in the road will make them honk just to get out of the truck..

My dogs normally bark like mad when someone parks at the end of our drive. We have the street's AT&T box at the end of our drive and anytime they come to work on it, we know roll.png Today tho, Mitzi came all the way up to the house and I didn't hear a peep from them. I think it's so hot they just didn't care today.

I've been teaching them to stay at the house and just bark from here, the lab wants to go down and see what they are doing, but I don't trust him to not protect us :p When we first moved in they were coming to the house, but the last two times they left it at the road. I guess maybe it's a differnet driver.

Laura, I bet the UPS dude doesn't realize that road isn't your driveway. There's only *1 UPS driver and *1 FedEx driver who can ever find this place. It's had me so dang mad so many times over the years. I LOVE our Post Office and mail carriers, they're awesome. They were so worried about my last batch of eggs they put them in their own box in the back of the truck because it said "Hatching eggs" on it lol They'll let you go to the back door at 3 AM if you have a live animal shipment (chicks or fish, etc). They'll call you and tell you the second it gets there.

You may have to get one of those plastic corrugated signs and stick it in the ground by your mailbox and write in black magic marker: Atten: UPS please come to the door.

Hi all.  I have been helping one of Jack's sisters (her name was Laura) since May 13 - first in the hospital and then with her at her home under hospice care.  She died peacefully at home Tuesday night.

Lynn, three of the eggs I got from you hatched.  I got one Ameraucana, one Brown Leghorn, and a Rhode Island Red.  If my feather sexing skills are any good, I'm thinking the BL and the RIR are males and the little puff-cheeked Ameraucana is a female.

Jack and I are planning to swing through the N.E.O.C.S. Saturday, but we'll have to hurry back to help finalize funeral preparations.  We're hoping get some cane from you, Elwood Lightfoot, if you have some.  I look forward to being there and seeing some new and familiar friendly faces.

Good thing Amazon is a wonderful company and stands by their stuff or I would be on the phone with UPS right now cursing and screaming......

wait you can't say P*ssed?? Since when is that profanity?

Oh yeah UPS out here bites!  Last delivery we had was 2 replacement remotes from Dishnetwork.  They left them on top of my suburban in the driveway!!!  One we found on the top and the other was in the drive, it had been ran over.   We are waiting on a shipment of Jr. Dragster tires from Kansas and they are coming UPS.  It has been over a week and they still aren't here.  Our Little Giant 3 gallon waterers are coming UPS as well, I pray they all make it safely.

I went back and looked at my amazon account and they have sent stuff via fedex, but they drop everything off at the post office and let them deliver it... strange.....

Well it was a girl the first two times I got stuff, then it was a guy every time after that. (haha I'm showing how much stuff I get online aren't I :p) That's not a bad idea. I may make a sign. Amazon said they would put a request for it to be taken to the door, but I bet they do the same thing again.

I wish they would just send everything USPS. It has got to be cheaper than the other two and it would be good business for the post office too!

No I figure it fell off the suburban (probably the wind) and then when I left for work the next morning at 5 I ran over it  We don't drive the suburban much so they could have been on top of it for days.  We have a circle drive and it is always parked in a little cut out out of the drive so we can get around it.  Trust me when they deliver those drag slicks I plan on saying something if I am here and they won't be able to just leave those tires sitting someplace they won't be seen, kind of big for that, lol.  Same with the waterers we have 5 of those coming so pretty noticable.
