An egg is mostly water so it stands to reason that egg production would drop in severe heat, try keeping them more hydrated, cool, and put ice bottles in their water bowls, we can only do so much but do what we can, it will cool off some day!!! Fingers crossed!!!!  Lynn

Tell him he helps or he gets none of our yummy in da tummy jello shots!! Didn't get my canning done yesterday but did get it done today. Not a whole lot but don't want the goodies going bad. Got 2 quarts of Jalapeno, banana peppers and chile pepper mix, 2 quarts and 1 pint of pickled okra, 1 pint of pickled beets and 1 quart of green beans. Can't wait to try the okra since I am using my fresh homegrown dill this time!  Helped mamapoppybee with her coop move this morning and made grocery lists for Saturdays get together.  Gonna be loads of fun!!

An old Cocker once told me that chickens can draw moisture out of the air, so if that's true then the mister thing may actually help keep chickens more hydrated!!!  Just throwing this out there!! Take it or leave it!!!  Lynn

Kass - Tomorrow is day 10, so I will let you know how the eggs candle.  The temperature and humidity have been great, so I'm hoping for a lot of fluffy babies from this clutch.  When we meet to deliver them, maybe we can do another C lesson.  I have some tools for you as well.

Joe - Updates tomorrow for the eggs I got from you : )  I get good vibes every time I check the incubator.

janbecoo1 - The Big Five did well on the ride home.  I stopped in Slick to put a second strap over the top of the silver visor to stop the flapping.  When we got home, they greeted their intact brothers, had a nice long drink, and then spent the next thirty minutes dust bathing in the muddy spots in the pen.  I sat in the pen for a while to remind them who I was.  They checked my pockets, picked at the grass seeds stuck to my pant legs, and didn't run when I picked each one up.  We'll try some time out of the pen tomorrow, just to walk around, and see how they do.

I didn't remember if today or tomorrow was day 10.  That sounds great another Cing lesson, after working on the dead one I definately need another lesson before I try on a live one on my own.  I also want to take pics of your tools to put on the Cing thread.  Have you tried the new tools yet??

I got canceled right before they put me under. Had me on the gernie with IVs in and everything. Flet like the condemned killer gettin a stay of exicution right before they pushed the button. Only I was much more ****** than the above mentioned guy. My whole week has been messed up do to having to stop several of my pills and giving myself lovanox shots in the stomach etc etc. After they hooked me up to the IV and got me ready to wheel in, I went to sleep. Woke up and a man in scrubs was standing by me and I thought, holy crap, Im done already. I was wrong. Seems like they only own one set of tools they can cut on your head with and some body didnt get them cleaned proper. Guess they couldnt clean them again to keep me from having to go thru this crap again but what the heck. What else would I have to do anyway. Ahhhhhhhh
