On the snake topic, any idea about brown with black stripes?  Sorry, my pics are all blurry.  All I've found are the babies. hide.gif

So if I just show up for the court thing vs just paying, it will keep it off my insurance?  I've not dealt with any of this kind of stuff before.  I've had a grand total of one ticket in my life, about 3 days after I turned 16, and it's been more than two decades since.

We have State Farm.  Same policy from same person going on 32 yrs, plus home and life.  I have no idea if we're preferred or not.  No accidents or tickets for at least a decade.  The fine for the ticket is more than my insurance premium for 6mths.  So we're probably preferred???

The kids want me in Alma? today. sad.png

No, any ticket you get, if you just pay it or fight it and found guilty your insurance can find and use against you if they choose to.  It sounds like your policy is likely a preferred policy, I don't know about State Farms policy about running mvr's, but suspect they don't routinely on their preferred policy holders unless given a good reason to (like an accident)  The only way your insurance co won't be able to see it and use it against you is if you fight it AND are found not guilty.  Incidentally you don't have to get a ticket in any accident for the insurance co to call you at fault and raise your rates.  The police don't have to assign blame in any individual accident or give tickets, but the insurance co HAS to assign blame in order to figure out which one is going to pay and how much. ( in the case of co-blame)  that doesn't apply in your case, just always surprised me how many people were surprised that their rates were raised and the accident was called their fault when they didn't get a ticket from the police.

So what benefit is gained by going in and pleading guilty?  If it still goes on your insurance and you're still paying, why bother making the added trip at all?

Hmmmm, now what should I make that I need to separate eggs for?????  Need to find a water bottle. big_smile.png

I don't bother to count them anymore.    Thanks to "Chicken Math" I already know the answer will be 10-12.

Our dogs love raw eggs, but my little one Tucker doesn't like the whites so Gary takes the yolk out of one for him.  I know all the info says they shouldn't have more then one a week, but they usually get about one a day per dog b/c if you crack an egg they beg so hard.  All the sites say it dulls their coat but ours have shiney coats and aren't overwieght so I don't guess it's doing any damage.

I didn't know that.  I feed DH's dogs eggs all the time.  He just told me not to give them any turkey bones.  They get lots of chicken and chicken products.  They're not fat or dull either.  I don't often need to separate eggs, it just looks so fun I want to.

I should get out and mow.  We got just enough rain to green things up and let some of the straggly weed stuff pop up.  Not enough to lift our outdoor water usage ban though. sad.png

For anyone who remembers, my pallet strawberries were a FAIL.  Even watering everyday and with that moisture bead soil stuff, those that were living were pitiful.

In Oct of 93 (almost 20 years ago) I got a ticket for "Improper Movement From Direct Course" this resulted in an accident that I felt wasn't my fault a collage aged kid flying in a sports car couldn't slow down enough to keep from hitting me, She wasn't injured but her lawyer/father told her to call an ambulance anyway, I was in a state vehicle so I'm sure they (or she) was paid very well, I took it to court with drawings of how I felt I didn't do anything wrong, I didn't pull out in front of anyone, I could prove she was speeding and it was a construction zone with traffic being blocked, I was asked to approach the bench and informed that I was about to be found guilty and if wanted to make a last minute change to my plea now was the time, so I changed my plea thinking it was going to help somehow and even though my insurance can't hold it against me any longer it's still on my record on OSCN.net, Just out of curiosity I looked it up and what I was charged with isn't in the violation codes, I guess they could have removed it in the last 19 years but I have to wonder what that's about and why it's still listed on my court records? Anyway since then I don't fight them I just submit a guilty or no contest plea, request that the ticket be suspended then figure out how to pay the extortion fee...

Count as Filed: , IMPROPER MOVEMENT FROM DIRECT COURSE , in violation of 47 O.S. 11-604A
Date Of Offense: 10/06/1993

    Disposition Information:

Disposed: CONVICTION, 11/15/1993. Guilty Plea.
Count as Disposed:IMPROPER MOVEMENT FROM DIRECT COURSE (MS0)
Violation of 47 O.S. 11-604A

I was talking with my cuzns wife just yesterday who just quit he job working for a insurance company.  She lives in Alma or Lavaca, AR so they agent was legal in both OK and AR.  After the several hour conversation about auto and homeowners ins., it did nothing but solidify by belief that Insurance is nothing but legalized FRAUD!

I like the idea of the water cooler, They took the waterer nipple to another level and the cost to a level way beyond that, still a good idea but I like the DIY approach better and it's much more affordable, I've been using the nipple for over a year now and I'm sold on them I just wish I'd thought about making and selling these LOL

There's got to be a way to attach these nipples I got from you to an insulated water cooler that would work about the same as paying $25 for their gizmo. I've got to figure out a way......because you could add some ice to the cooler and it would stay cold/cool for way longer than 24 hrs even in this heat, I'm sure. I don't think there's a way to keep the nipples themselves from freezing in the winter but we don't often get that cold of weather. I'm going to think on this.

I've got over a dozen dogs and they get eggs every time I turn around. I don't crack them for them though, just hand them to them. I don't believe for a minute that it's not good for them to have 1 every day.

I made the smokey egg dip, but this time I increased the number of eggs to make a batch of deviled eggs too, the ones I was going to make into deviled eggs I just put the yolks in then used the dip to make the deviled eggs, soooooo cool a twofer!!!!
