I am wanting to see what the interest is in this breed? I know of someone who is offering hatching eggs from her Shetland flock. I am going to try some, I think.
Perhaps if there is anyone looking to get some of these, I could hook you up.
They are a very rare breed in the US.

I hope you are still there.

I have a large (well, I think so anyway) flock of rare ducks, including Shetland ducks and also some chocolate Shetland ducks. No, I don;t know how the chocolate fellows happened, but I have been selecting for them with some success. Feel free to contact me.

The Shetland ducklings enjoying the 4'x4' brooder box , leaving them for 20 more days or until the next batch starts hatching up, but indeed still stoked about my little Shetland ducklings :)something$$& :D about having them finally... And being able to breed future stock to bring them back to small back yard farms around America :weee

I'm looking to purchase some fertile shetland eggs. Perferably the black variety.
