Hens not getting along!

We just moved our girls to a new coop yesterday. They are 9 weeks. It's an 8x8 and we have 10. There is a TON of room for them all but some seem to be showing aggression towards the others. Fluffing feathers and running at one another and jumping on each other. I'm guessing this is their way of establishing pecking order in the new pad but I just want to make sure!big_smile

Mom to 1 beautiful toddler, one little boy on the way in June, 2 crazy mutts, 10 chicks and 1 turtle. My poor husband!

Welcome to  BYC! ya

My young hens do this all the time.

But...

Are they actually pulling feathers?

The voices in my head ain't real, My dog told me so(:

Nope no feather pulling just "bickering" with each other. They had never had any issues until they were moved into the coop so I just wanted to be sure!

Maybe with the new digs they need to go thru the pecking order thing again.

Every day above ground is a good day!
