Aaaaw, yours is a cutie! smile I'm starting to wonder if mine may be Polish X Cochin.
He doesn't have feathered legs, though.

He's a 3/4 size bird at 5 weeks, and my other cochins are bantams. His outer toes are slightly feathered.

Ok.. The updated (exactly 2 weeks later!) photos! smile

First of all.... Definitely roo, right? His comb has gotten pretty red, so that would be my guess?

Here are the new photos..

..The chicks are a little dirty, they were enjoying their "dust baths" before/during these pics. lol

See how red that comb has gotten?? hmm Was hoping he'd turn out to be a hen, but oh well.
Another roo won't hurt anything.....I guess! lol lol

Is it me, or is he missing a tail??? lol

Is he looking more like any certain breeds to you all? Cochin mix, maybe?

Thanks everyone!! big_smile

Looks cochin and maybe orpington.

He turned out to be a boy, and i'm pretty sure he's an "Easter Egger" rooster! :)

(he's the ONLY chick that I have left from last year)

Update:

SilversBeard1.jpg

This is "Silver" - turned out to be a pretty boy. =)

Here he is again, standing behind "Bettie".. A Langshan hen he recently bonded with. :)

congrats on your pretty boy!  At this point I suspect that he's a Faverolles cross because of the beard and leg feathering.  I doubt that he's crossed with Orpington because their white legs are a dominant gene, and those legs are not white in the slightest.

He's gorgeous, who would have expected that beard out of that chick? :P
