Lavender roo and buff orpington hens?

Doubt it's an Orp. If McMurray really does have Lav Orps, heck, we've always had civil, well mannered birds from them before, I'd try a Lav roo and put him over my black Orp hens. But I don't really want to get into the Lav project, I'm happy with our And. blue JG/Orp mixes. We have consistantly gotten a very nice blue color, no or limited lacing, nice even color. They just don't look much like either parent breed, but they lay eggs just fine. Works for us.

If I go crazy and want Lavs, I'm going to scbatz33 or kathyinmo since I like their birds best from what I've seen.
