When do boys ducks start growing their curly feathers on their tails?

Owner of 7 duckies: 3 swedish, 1 runner, 3 buffs, and 5 Rhode Island Red girls. Family pets: 2 cats- bug and cricket, girls. 1 standard Poodle-Phoebe,girl. 2 goldfish

Mine just got his, and he is about 4 months old. I think it really just depends on your duck... sometimes it can take a while!
