My toms were standing in the rain the day before I took the picture, so their tails looks worn. Anyway here is the info on the breed, and these are not hatchery birds- Considered a rare breed of Turkey, a heritage Turkey and admitted into the American Standard of Perfection in 1909. Developed in Pennsylvania and taken to Kentucky with the long rifle. This breed later was given the name Bourbon Red from it's popularity from Bourbon County, Kentucky. Many people feel that this turkey is one of the most beautiful of all turkey varieties. It has a very dark, rich, chestnut color that is edged in black on many of the feathers. The wing tips and the back one half of the tail are white giving it a very striking appearance. They are very curious birds, and very easy to tame. It will not grow as large or as fast as the bronze or white turkeys but is good to eat and will be a wonderful addition to the farm. Hens finish at 8 - 10 pounds and toms at 12 - 15 pounds.

Fertility is very good, and I have been having very good hatch rate on them

I ship by Priority mail and will ship eggs on Thursday. Ships in U.S.A only! I can not be held responsible after eggs leave my hands there are too many variables with shipping, incubating & etc.

Thanks for looking!
