treatment for cocci? Dying chicks please help

In my humble opinion powder and liquid are for flock treatment . How many chicks have you ? There are pills for dosing a single bird . I use both ! Is there dosing instructions on the bag or box ? I use Sulmet or parastop for flock treatment .

The powder is the only thing my TSC sells. The dosing intructions are for cattle. I read somewhere 1-2 teaspoons for gallon.

Since Corid is not specifically for chickens they will not give a dosage . It is approved for bovine . Do the 1-2 teaspoon per gallon .

Don't slaughter your meaties for at least 10 days , I think that is how long they recommend for bovine and you are welcome . That's a good idea to flock treat also !!!

I ran a quick scan and saw that most were 20% in powder form , if you feel comfortable with 2 go for it . I hope all have a speedy recovery !!!

After you do this , I give pro-biotics because these meds wipe out the gut bacteria and pro -biotics helps restore that healthy balance . Also I give mine 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar per gallon water everyday , because pathogens do not like an acidic gut . I raise fancy show pigeons also and I do the same with them . Pro-biotics can be bought at Foy's Pigeon or New England Pigeon supplies . New England has many , meds for fowl , not just pigeons . Check them out .
