Can you candle it and see how many yolks? Does that work?

People are stupid, we should replace them with chickens.

After I show it off for a few days it will be breakfast.

Can't hatch it, don't have any roosters.

As for what feed I use........well its mostly fresh greens and whatever they scratch up when they get out of the coop in the evening. I do have layer mix (pellets) for them, but they only eat maybe a coffee can full a week. As for brand.......its whatever Mannings has that day.

Heres a little different perspective.

During my chickens' first six months of laying I used to get one of those every once in a while -- it's almost certainly a double yolker (though sometimes it's just  a BIG yolk).

But I haven't gotten one in months! I miss them! I guess my girls just got used to laying.
