Arabian (trumpiter?) pigeons...

hello, i am getting a female pigeon for my lonely male pigeon Dale, today. I settled for any breed i could find. the only pigeon people i could find that wernt half way accross the state, were some people with "arabian pigeons". ive searched for them on google to learn about them (since i no nothing about them) but have only found this pice of info, on EVERY site i go to:

The Arabian Trumpeter is a breed of fancy pigeon developed over many years of selective breeding.Arabian Trumpeters, along with other varieties of domesticated pigeons, are all descendants from the Rock Pigeon (Columba livia). There are several breeds of trumpeter pigeons which are known for their vocal cooing which sounds similar to laughter or trumpeting. The breeds with this ability are collectively known as "voice" pigeons.
as you can see, not much. hmm  anyway, if anyone has any info on this breed, i would love to hear it!
   thanks!   -cochingurl

Arabian Trumpeters are small Roller-like birds. They are very similar to Thai Laughers. English Trumpeters are bigger with muffs and crests. Arabians are clean-legged and plain-headed.

I had some Arabians for a while. I really liked them. Their "voices" are so different from normal pigeons. They add a great sound effect to the loft. One of the thinghs I liked about them is the amasing rare colors they can throw. They have this sheen to them that is just beautiful. I've seen it in few other breeds except maybe the swifts. Mine were very hardy and prolic and matured quickly. I think you will like them. I wouldn't mind getting started in them again. They are fairly rare and not easily found.

My Dad told me once that Sanawi's (as what Arabs called this marvelous birds) have the most beautiful call for a pigeon. Tough we owned English trump, and Bokhara trump. Up to this day my Dad still regrets for not owning one. Good luck on this one.
