Pictures of your Quilts please. UPDATE I FOUND THE PATTERN - Page 13

Thank you! It was a kit and the hen and chicks are actually felt. I didn't care too much for that aspect of it but I think it turned out good. It was a gift for my SIL and she liked it. Planning on making another for myself....someday!

In September of last year I got the great idea of making our nieces and nephews each a quilt for Christmas. Well, life got in the way and only 3 have been done and delivered so far. Hopefully I will have the other three done and delivered by this Christmas!

For our niece Emmy- just the top so far but it is sandwiched and ready to quilt

This one was going to be for our nephew Tyler but I decided to go with something that will grow with him. Top only:

Isnt it amazing what you can do in your first quilting class.   Did she/he show you what you were making?

I know a lot of teachers wont show what it looks like in the end because the class would think, I cant make that.   It is beautiful, well they are all. Thanks for sharing.

So many beautiful works of art here! bow  I just finished a raggie quilt for my sister.  It is made from flannel shirts worn by my grandpa, who passed away a few years ago.  I love the look of these, despite the fact that they take an eternity when made from clothing. I made one last year for my parents; one a year is about all I can handle.

Dont you find it odd that people will put more work into choosing their mechanic or house contractor than they will into choosing the person who grows their food?
