My little Olive (a placeholder name until I decide on one) had some issues with her neck. It had a small cut, then got pecked by the others before I discovered it and it got infected. Her neck swelled up horribly and I treated her with penicillin injectable. The poor thing was so itchy she scratched all the feathers off her neck, all the way up to her earlobes. The poor thing even scratched off her cute little beard (she's an EE) and looked literally like a naked neck.
She's FINALLY growing all those feathers back after a month on much higher protein food, but they are coming in strangely. They really look ingrown. What do you think?
