Muscovy Duck Feeding

we have a saying here: if you count the layers of the pie, you don't eat pie anymore.
i wont be too helpful on this because i make my own food and my ducks free range all day long and have food as much as they want, but for 30 pekin ducks one month old, 9 cornish X chickens and 25 layers i use a 2 buckets of food a day.

Could you please tell me what you use to make your food?

Can week old Muscovy ducklings eat fishing worms or even just grass or dandelion leaves???

I am a new Muscovy mom too. We have actually successfully rescued a blind Muscovy. We have filmed her progress and Clover is doing great. I read extensively on what to feed her when she was young and found several experts who give the rule of no more than 20% protein in her diet. We actually fed her a combination of grain, dog food, minnows from our pond (at one month old), and meal worms. She now forages most of the time but due to her blindness she cannot be left outside of her coop alone. So we move her coop every other day to give her fresh ground to forage and try to sit out and babysit her (shooing the hawks and falcons away) so that she can free range at least two to three hours a day. We have found that she enjoys her early morning meal the most. After that, she would really rather forage. Good luck!
