As you can see below we don't entertain your run of the mill cat/dog pet. I've had my tiel for 12 years and my buns for 8 so those that know me I think are just use to it and think its funny. Those just meeting me are definetly -ill say intrigued when I say chicken/duck. Lol
But I get more stink eye when I say "house rabbit" than I do from chicken. "they live in your house?? Where do they go to the bathroom?? Are they hard to train??". The answers are yes. In a box like a cat. And no. But the chicken are more fun to talk about because everyone seems to think they are incredibly stupid so I love to contradict their beliefs. I guess all my other animals are deemed semi intelligent
