Hi,

The girls spent their first night in the hen house and we have a web cam on them running live.  It's in the Pacific Northwest.  Feel free to watch the "Ranch Cam."

what kind of cam system did you use?  Is it wireless?   My son wants a chicken cam SO BAD but we can't find something reasonable priced, and wireless

We have 6 chickens.  They might not all the in the camera zone.  My husband knows the specifics  of the camera.  I will have him answer your questions.  We bought it on ebay.  I'm sure it was less than 100 dollars.

I'm not sure what they use, but I've taken a laptop outside and hooked up a web cam. If you have a wireless router the range from this router might go out to where your coop is.
