For those of you who worm with Valbzen, how do you worm with it? I've seen folks that give it orally with a syringe and those that put it in the water. How is it supposed to be given?

Depends on the type you got (Is is liquid, is it diluted or not diluted)
If it is the liquid then I Mix 1 cc wormer with 8 cc water and then give 2cc of that solution down the throat for large fowl and 1 cc of the mixture for Bantams. Should do the trick.
1cc= 1ml

You can also put it on a small piece of bread - I give each piece to each chicken before the door opens in the morning, then toss them out after they get their "treat". Start with the rooster if you have one, so he doesn't try to protect the hens from you. Easy way to get them to open their mouth is to tug lightly on the wattles.

It's still a wormer, but there have been issues regarding whether it's losing its effectiveness against roundworms, especially the ivomec injectable when used in chickens...I dont trust ivermectin and I dont use it anymore. For lice/mites, I use sevin dust, no 14 day egg withdrawal neither. I dust the coop with it. You cant use ivermectin to treat the coop. You can redose with valbazen if you wish.
