Partridge Silkies - Nothing else - Page 210

Oh No! Well, your right about the time of year. My one year olds are running around half naked and gauky looking. But your anology of the rubber chicken is too funny gig. Poor babies! Good thing in six weeks they will all look like new wink

Glad you were showing more than chickens. I adopted the cutest little call duck drake two weeks ago. I've only owned big breed ducks and to see him out there with them is so cute! Now I want more!!

Hope to see you too in January at the NE Poultry Congress fl

Beth G. :

Awesome!!!! I can't wait to meet you there!!!

How did you all do at this weekends show? Did you go?

Brody's Broodello :

On a Northeast Congress note, their Grandmother went reserve of breed there the other year for Brody. So they should feel right at home, since that show is in their blood! lol

We will be there this year if all works out right!

WWWeeeellllll!!!!   Let's let's just say that if they had feathers the morning of the judging, they might have looked like silkies and not those fake rubber chickens! lol

I started to see random feathers 2 days before leaving & was praying that the wind would leave some intact, but it was not to be. barnie

So not so well, but they held it together for the Silkie Nationals & that was the show we were conditioning for, so not a problem. Silkies this time of year is a toss up, that is why only 2 of the 3 entered went. We were really geared to the Call ducks since Columbus was the Call Duck Club National, and the latch hatches held their own in outstanding company, so we were very pleased.

Indy was the big one for us & the s2 ilkie girls, and they took a BV & RV so that was the bomb! lau
