

Just curious; is my Partridge Silkie rooster good enough quality to show? Sorry if the pictures don't do him any justice. He really is a nice looking bird, more so in person. Just kind of a jerk...
He's grown a teensy bit since I've taken these pictures. It's his birthday today too, so he's officially a rooster instead of a cockerel! :3
I think you'd classify this guy AOV - Non-Bearded blue partridge.
I would not call him a show-able rooster :( - main problem I see with this guy is his comb and waddle color are too red. His crest is smaller than most show males as well and his tail has too many hard feathers. 
I think he is a gorgeous fellow though, love the blue partridge.
X2 I will say he has a nice short back and good wings--both of which are probably more difficult to find than one with a better crest or comb/wattle colour. He probably would not fare well in a sanctioned show if there is any competition, but he might do quite well in a breeding pen if you can pair him with a very dark skinned, large crested girl.
