Yeah, Hopefully more hatch out for you.  I hatched out a ton of guineas yesterday and the day before from You and Jim.  I will get pics. I also hatched out 5 Call ducks I bought on Ebay and 1 SL Polish and about 10 Sizzle/SG eggs I got from Ebay. I also hatched out 1 EE & 1 Olive Egger from Jims Eggs and have more in the bator getting ready to go into lock down.

Guineas, OE & EE are going into lock down in a few day from Jim besides the others I had already hatched out.  I am swimming in chicks right now and my Cabinet bator is almost full.  I have a bunch of my own call duck eggs in the bator and they will be going into lock down soon.  celebrate.gif

Whoot grats on the Babies!

I can't wait until mine actually make it out of that darn shell! It is slightly amusing though, with just the head stuck out. Shelby named the first Showgirl Nova. She says "she" is sure to be a star.

I got the puzzle from anderson8505 today. Thank you.

I'm having the worst luck with hatching eggs the past several months. I set 40 quail eggs this last time and only 1 hatched. I set 20 last time and 1 hatched and I got 3 from the easter hatch along and I set like 75 eggs. They're fertile.  I can't keep the temps stable and the bator likes to runat 103 or 98. There is rarely a happy medium. I suppose that may be it.  I'll be setting more this weekend after I sanitize the bator. The past years I would set eggs every week and didn't sanitize for months and had good hatches. I need to get my cabinet finished. Hopefully end the bad hatches.

Did you get the eggs I sent?  Doesn't look like they scanned the package once it left here.   Your package is out for delivery here, YAY!

'The last time I hatched, I set 70, 30 hatched the first day, and a few more hatched over the next 2-3 days, but none of the late hatchers lived.  Probably my fault...should have separated them as a day or two makes a big difference, at least at first, and I think they might just have gotten overrun by their larger hatchmates.  I have a small place to put the late one this time.  The first few times I hatched, I noticed they seemed to wander away from the heat and not figure out how to get back.. I had to keep pushing them back under the ECO-glow.  Now I block them into 1/3 of the brooder and only expand the space after about a week.  They are not the smartest chicks, me thinks.

I just wanted to share my new batik design...a lavender silkie!   I have not been able to get my 3 year old to take hers off since it came out of the dye:)
