Oh no sorry, I was waiting till the date you wanted. I am sorry. They are laying so well now. Must be the great weather.  I should candle the ones you sent tonight. I have been so totally crazy checking temp and humidity. I have 2 bators full and would just love for all of them to hatch. fl.gif

I've been watching the swap page, but haven't claimed anything yet because I wasn't sure if people would be interested in soaps or lotion bars. That's about the only thing I really have available right now. :/

Does anyone see anything on my page they'd want to trade 6-8 showgirl and/or silkie eggs for?

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

One of my friends got his orders from Cackle Hatchery.

Out of 25 Bantams- only 2 survived.

Out of 25 Ducks- all survived so far.

Out of 25 Turkey Polts- So far only 7 survived, and they look like poop.

 

These Poults look awful. Dropped wings, dull feathers, sedate, and enlarged vents with a foamy cream froth they are pooping out. They have pecked one's butt raw and were trampling him, so he gave him to me to bring home and try to nurse him back. I have him in a tote away from everything I have. Gave him a heat pack and he just wants to sleep. He is not eating or drinking.

I am not sure why they are shipping out these bad batches. Would you guys even call them bad batches? The chicks do not look good at all.  Have you guys dealt with anything similar?
