That is great news so far.  I wish I were closer I would offer to chicken sit and make you freezer meals!!  Best wishes for all things going well and a speady recovery!!

Glad they made it..  Some of those eggs are the last from me. I sold all the gold laced and reds and the buff laced rooster died on me Fri.     So left with the silver laced who have quit laying on me and my blues. Never a dull moment here.  I think I have a few eggs on the counter here, I will incubate and hope to hatch a new BL rooster.

Joey, that is good that you are going to try and file a claim. However with not much to go on you will be lucky if they refund your postage. So even if you get refunded you are only going to get a little over $1 back, what you paid in postage.

I feel that the right thing to do would be to put me on your "owe" list and when you are in a situation where you are able to start swapping again we can look at sending something again but this time with DC.

X2, I always give a DC, it's really not hard to set it up online, then it's free and all you have to do is drop it off at the PO if doesn't fit in your mailbox and no waiting in lines, I highly recommend it.
