WHAT YA GOT SWAP Chat Thread - Page 941

Thanks, you two. This isn't something I particularly want to do but I do want to do it right.

Hot2Pot, do you think it's ready for the seed now, or should I wait til it's more mobile? I'm making it use it's legs and wings to balance on a stick but it doesn't really walk around yet. Has tail feathers full and feathers on the body are coming in as well.

Well, it would probably be still in the nest if it is not mobile. I have not raised that species, but I suspect it is early for seed. However , you could add rice cereal for babies to your mix:-) Deb

Paris, I got your package today and I was so sad when I heard rattling and then so happy when I discovered you'd sent both dishes instead of just one and the chicken one survived the trip. I'm sorry to say that the rooster is beyond repair. I don't know how one could be totally smashed and the other perfect but I love it. They are/were lovely bowls!

No, no! I was only ever expecting one bowl so no replacing necessary. Just a shame that's all.

Cinderella brought her 3 day old chicks outside the coop for the first time yesterday, it was the cutest thing I've ever seen, even there Daddy was keeping a close eye on them and helping feed, so I thought you might enjoy a few photos!

Proud Mommy!!!
