Wow it has been a while since I've been on BYC, my b-day was this Saturday and I think this was actually the first weekend I went the whole time without signing on, lol.  I had a great surprise though, I know some of you were in the Easter hatch, well I won the Brinsea mini advanced incubator for being closest to guessing how many chicks would be hatched, I was only 3 off, I was REALLY surpised!! ep.gif  I never win anything. seriously, lol.  Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Wife to a wonderful husband (Michael-NMarine1057), Mom to 3 dogs, Pomeranian, Pug and Boston Terrier, 17 silkies, 12 wellsummers, 9 rhode island reds.

I just hatched some Bantam Barred rocks. :) love em- when they are grown, etc and laying eggs. I will be offering the eggs for sale/trade.

Now if I can just get the bantam RIRs to cooperate.  I hatched 1 chick out of the first batch of eggs i bought. and i dont think that i will have  any out of the 2nd batch :(

I havent been online much- but had a fairly good hatch for easter.

but had 2 sticky chicks and they both didnt make it. my first time with sticky chicks. :(

I am thinking on at the end of summer or maybe sooner selling all my LF birds and then just raising the japs, rir, br bantams and seramas,

reese- i got what i believe to be 3 seramas from you.  2 are very tiny- one looks solid black. and the others are a reddish color with chipmunk stripes.

Not sure where to post my question...  I just started selling eggs on e-bay.  It's really fun.  When I know they eggs will sell that night I sit down to watch tv while getting my eggs all packaged up.  Well an auction ended last night for 12+ guinea eggs.  So I got them all bubble wrapped and ready to go in their box.  Usually the people pay really fast.  I take the eggs to work with me, print the shipping label out and off they go.  Well this person hasn't payed yet...  I'm sure they will eventually but I am now worried about the eggs in the bubble wrap... Do you think they might sweat?  I hope not.  I am keeping them in the A/C up until I ship them out and I have received eggs like this myself and it seemed to work really well.  Also, what if they wait a couple days before they pay?  Their eggs will be older...  hu.gif..... they need a nail bitting smiley on here.  I guess I need to put a note in my description like I have seen some people put that says "if you wait a few days to pay your eggs will be older"   Uuggg  selling hatching eggs actually stresses me out majorly... I keep worrying... what if they don't hatch.... what if they get scrambled... or broke... or lost... LOL  I have sellers anxiety!

Bantam Red Cochins, Mille Fluer D'Uccle, Free ranging guineas - Pearl, Pied, Buff, Violet, Lavender.  One RIR hen and one Black Australorp hen (Henny) who is a spoiled rotten pet.  Variety of Maran babies.  One great husband, three kids, and two dogs.  I'm a chick-a-holic so I have an ever changing number of feather kids.

LOL - All that worrying for nothing.  They just paid, labels printed, and eggs are on their way.
