Chickens are great pets, they're not expensive, they're fun, and though we go through a lot to take care of them........
They do pay rent with healthy eggs!!!!

This is Buddy, a serama. He was a true gentleman, Always let the ladies eat first and was always gentle, he even adopted two pullets and protected them and every night I would find him roosting with the two pullets, one under each wing. And he was always patient with my little brother, who often would carry him through the house, never once did he try to scratch or bite. Sadly a fox got him a few weeks ago. He was truly a beautiful and amazing bird.May he rest in peace.
