What age do hens stop laying eggs?

My mom wants to know i heard someone say even if they are old they can still lay an egg everyday or every other day

2 nine month old male cats dom shorthair light brown tabby named Milo and a white flame point Siamese named Chester.

I have Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Island Red,White Rocks,Red Sex Links,Black Sex Links and some crosses

They can lay for as long as they live, but the production starts really dropping off after 2-3 years.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

My Clarice is at least 8 and she still lays 4-6 a week! smile
