I like everything about it except how it looks right now. I know it lays decently. It is a great part of my great waterfowl flock.

Reminds me of the color of a lot of the mille fleur cochin project. Mille fleur mixed with mottled. I think a lot of these birds on islands and remote places are just mixed breeds like the swedish flower hens. They are pretty though.

I've been out of town, but can't wait to put updated pictures on here later this week. The rooster changes daily it seems! He has just started to crow a little and is quite proud of himself. I can't wait till he gets more of the gold/cooper on him.
Cheryl - Those leghorns are NEAT! I was wondering what those looked like! I love Mille Fleur anything!
Crazypetlady - You can never have too many coops!
Gumbii - What does "hen feathered" mean? Maybe then I can answer your question!
hen feathered like this sebright roo...
the males don't get pointy hackles or sickle feathers or anything that makes their feathers different than a hens... your little roo in the pick doesn't show that much "roo" feathering... i guess he's a lot younger than i thought... LOL...
Got it! Yeah, he's just a baby. Hopefully you saw the adult pictures I posted.

He's really starting to blossom. I'm trying to think of names for him, all I can come up with is Bert.
