Yeah, that is a given.

I have been buying neosporin, or any generic antibiotic cream, by the handful.

It is amazing what they can get themselves into.

And how much blood is involved!

I'm thinking Hunter Green with white trim and a tan roof.  Chickens for Backyards.  $1300

A+ in chicken math:  1 BS + 1 BR + 1 BA + 1 GC + 2 EE + 1 BO +1 SLW + 1 SS + 1 LO + 1 GLW + 1 BCM + 1 AW + 1 BCF = 8.  I am married to The King of Coops and I have a firefighter daughter who's my hero.  We also have a spoiled designer dog (a/k/a expensive mutt), a deaf calico cat and Brutus, the wonder cat.

I like it. I saw this on display at the Dutchess County fair this passed summer. Great coop but if I remember correctly they advertised it could hold 15 or 20 birds. The way I see it it can hold 8 or 9 comfortably. How many will be in there?

I like it. 1300 is more than I would EVER pay, but if you can afford it, go for it! I love the rough wood look, very rustic!

Actually, this one is advertised for up to 10 I believe.  There are bigger ones, but this is as stretch for me.  And I DO have a limit.  (wink wink)

Of course I can't afford it.  I'll be losing my job in June.  But thanks to chicken math, I'll probably get it anyway.  Be sorta hard ninjaing it in, though.

Beautiful looking coop. I can see you and a few of the other ninja type members trying to get it in under cover of darkness.

Gotta love chicken math. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac couldn't hold a candle to it...

Roberta, it's safe to use neosporin on chickens?

One of my girls had an "umbilical" problem and chickensforbackyards.com told me to use neosporin.  Cleared it up beautifully.  And, by the way, said chicken just started laying.  I now have 5 our of 6 laying.
