We're in Eastern Putnam and have been getting feed from the new TSC in Patterson, but there are plenty of Agways and such around.
I would love to get 4-6 more chicks, but don't want to mail-order a "minimum".
Specifically, I would love to get some young B.O's and maybe an EE or two.

Got any local leads?

Hi John, and welcome. TSC did have chicks for sale up until a few weeks ago. The Feedbarn in Mahopac got chicks in for the first time last week. You could check if they are doing it again and are willing to special order for you. Also, My Pet Chicken will do as few as three for a minimum order.

Again, welcome. Nice having another Putnamite join in.

Rich, that's some lousy luck. At least you did wind up with three pullets. Have to look on the bright side.

Keep us posted with chick pix.

There hatching already, Suzanne? Time does fly. Good luck. It has to be nerve wracking waiting for them to pip.

Hi John. There are a few peeps that have all colors of Orps In CT.

I got a few at a show, in fact, One of the girls has an "earth day special" till the end of the week, $5.00 per chick.

I have contact with them thru Facebook, but I am really not computer savvy.

You want me to check into buffs for you?

Don't know about EEs, will send a note now.
