In the 5 boroughs of nyc EVERY gun must be legally  registered. Upstate NY they need not be registered...... so we can hunt etc. up there.. I ived in the  Adirondacks for years.

NYC gun laws are different. Very different.

I have family in law enforcement here since the 1800's. First motorcycle cop in NYC was my great.....great .....grandpa.

thats awesome! My uncle is 21 and he has been a firefighter since he was 14 =] He actually came up to live with us for 1 year.... He lives in Ohio though.... And the is his whole life.... It doesnt matter when he gets a call, he always comes.... I think last year they had like 250 calls, and he responded to 240.... He is really awesome =] tell your daughter I said thanks =]

That makes me VERY happy. I was a volunteer for 6 years in the New Hyde Park FD. Best job I ever had. My husband is a FDNY Lieutenant, and my sons want to be firefighters as well. It's a story of a child well raised by you-that she is as admirable as she is now.

My sister in law is a Dade county firefighter in Miami FL.Has been for almost 15 years now. I'm always impressed.
