Scylla@aol.com :

Brooklyn chiming in!  I'm in Bensonhurst and found a chick in my yard.  Turns out she's a Jersey giant and now I'm wondering if she would get along with a silkie or EE.  Hi to all my neighbors!  Glad to see I"m not alone.

Kathy, I got so excited with our first egg I forgot to welcome you.

Hope you can make some friends here and we can all help each other.  Nice to see so many in Brooklyn doing chickens.

I've been doing the egg dance like a rain dance and it finally paid off.  I just hopped around like a fool though when I saw the egg.  Everybody thinks I'm nuts.

I don't even know what to do with it.  I oogle it and marvel at it.  Still waiting for number two egg.  She had to have laid that egg at about 4pm.  Have to hang a clock in the coop now so we can gt our eggs in time for breakfast.
