please tell me your chickens names.

Yogi ( that day I was naming Yogi Berra died) ; Foghorn Leghorn; Sly; Fuzzy; Goldie; Sunny; Bluebird; HennyPenny; Star (she a genius chicken)!

The ones hatched last year were blue legband #s 1-100.
This year's hatchlings are white legband #s1-100.
Next year will be the same numbers but yellow.

Tater Rocker is one of our RIR's, named by my very imaginative 4yr old

Chickaletta is the other RIR named by my 2yr old after a chicken on his favorite tv show "Paw Patrol"

Nuggz is a Barred Rock, the boys wanted to name her Nugget but we compromised since there are no plans to send her to McDonald's! Haha Mom/Dad wanted to start a backyard flock but we wanted the boys to be invested in our new pet adventure. They absolutely love taking care of the three hens, we can see out into the coop/run from our sunroom which doubles as a chicken observatory. Our "3 Chicks Inn" has been up and running for about 15-16 weeks so now we are just waiting for the girls to make us some delicious deliveries!

I only have 6 and some don't have names. One roo and 5 hens. Our roo, a barred Rock is named Scrappy. He got his name as a we chick when we still thought he was a she but the name was appropriate. We just thought he was the lead her as he was more out going than the rest and used to run around pecking the others on their behinds before the even had tail feathers. Our mixed breed is Wiggles because as a chick she used to wiggle her behind right before she pooped! My two BO girls are Chubby and Little Yellow. Chubby because she is plump and Little Yellow as she's a little smaller than Chubby. Our two female Barred Rocks are nameless. :( can't really tell them apart but we love them just the same.

Our chicks aren't coming until April. But, I already have names picked out. We are getting 4 birds. Of course they may change, but this is what I'm thinking so far.

Clover
Willow
Stella
Wilma or Genevieve (not sure yet)

Our newest baby hatched by our bantam broody (Isla) hatched baby Pip (cream legbar barred rock mix). We figure Pip is good for a boy and Pippy for a girl...it did of course start from a "pip" in a shell.
