This thread seems to be going kind of slow...

I had to say though, Thanks to all of you for sharing these bird picswink.png I am in love!!droolin.gif  I have only wanted chickens for a good laying flock, until now. These birds are so Beautiful! Somehow they will be added to the list of chickens i get this coming spring:)

I looked for them in the list of breeds, but couldn't find them... Did i just miss them? or have they not been added yet?  ~Naomi

Nomi, it's very possible they may just not be in the breeds listing here on BYC.  They're rare in the U.S., not APA approved, but hopefully one day they WILL be.

That is great news! How old are they?

Yes things are a little quiet on this thread.  I don't think there are many of us that has this breed.

Here is a new photo of my little splash female.  She doesn't like her photo taken to much.

Here is my black cockerel. He is 15 weeks now.

I had terrible luck with the post office and shipped eggs. I ended up with a total of 8 chicks. Four are splash, three are black and only one is blue. Fortunately, it's a pullet. I will have a splash cockerel to rehome.

Living well with chickens.

Swedish Flower Hens, Cream Legbars, Isbars, Lemon Cuckoo Orps and ee's with beards, muffs, crests AND blue eggs!

Hello!  He is beautiful!  I wish you lived closer, I would take one of your boys home to live with me! How many male/females did you end up with? I am still thinking about hatching more eggs, but every time I go to order them I talk myself out of it.

Fortunately, there are 5 pullets and three cockerels. Two of the four splashes are pullets, two of the three blacks and the lone blue one. I have one black and two splash cockerels.

Oh wow! That is a good ratio.  You should have lots of blue next year.

Hi Everyone!

I am just thrilled to death.  I had ordered 6 Isbar Hatching eggs, and let me tell you, it was the longest 21 days of my life.  I am in VA, and these eggs were shipped in 100 degree weather, then we had those devastating storms and lost power for 4 days.  The poor generator worked over time keeping the fridge and incubator going.  I had 3 eggs hatch yesterday!  Here they are at 24 hours old.  I think I got 2 Blues and a Splash.  I can't wait to watch them grow up :)

Aww so cute! If you don't mind sharing, who did you get eggs from? I am in Tn, so not to far from you.
