Grrrr dropped eggs..

Just dropped 4 eggs.. and they were really good ones too... all clean and hard shelled... grrr I'm mad at myself for that rantsomadhe

Has anyone else dropped more than 4 eggs before at a time.. so I feel better. Haha

Well I was getting an egg carton out of the frigde when a couple eggs just plopped out onto the kitchen floor. Only two though, sorry. idunnotongue

Owner of 2 labs , 2 RIR hens, 2 BOs, a polish, a dominique, an EE, a frizzle, and a RIR rooster. Some how manage to not get tired of them.

Well.. we ALWAYS have extra eggs in the fridge and I was moving things around to get out the butter when a whole carton fell onto the floor, 12 eggs smashed. Let me tell you I was not a happy camper that day! smile

Three dogs, bobtailed cat- Nala, a crazy kitten-Gizmo, two goats, two 1 y/o RIR hens, 16 black and red sexlink hens, one mille fleur D'Uccle pullet, three OEGB cockerals, and our new addition, a barred rock mixed roo, 11 eggs in the incubator! Have a AQHA 5 year old horse named Dan, and a teddy bear hamster (I think thats all)

barnie its why I have dogs cuz I am clumsy and always droppy eggs,milk or butter..my dogs are so fat....try dropping the days milking 3 gallons of milk on the kitchen floor barnie

I'm pretty good at dropping eggs probably 1-2 a week.  Worse is going to get my eggs and finding them pecked open and ruined, it makes the dogs happy though!

WHen I only had my 6 ALs and they first started laying, I was so excited.  On the first day all 6 laid an egg, I was so happy.  I ran with them in my hands to go show everyone, I ended up tripping and dropping them all on the concrete garage floor. I was so upset and sorry.  I apologized to the girls for ruining their hard work. lol

Momma to Amberlinks, Black Sexlinks, a White Leghorn, AL/RSL mixes, Cochins, Ameraucanas, Barred Rocks, Polish chicks and 1 sweet Silkie
