New Jersey

I was in the coop, of all places, when it hit. Between this and the eclipse on Monday, I feel like I'm getting all my life experiences in one week.
I went out to the coop immediately after and it suddenly turned really cold and with strong wind gusts - it all feels very 'end of world' somehow!
To keep me from getting too fanciful however, the cats barely woke up during it!

I was drinking coffee and surfing the net, and just thought it was a strong gust of wind, or a loud garbage truck. Never even looked up. My neighbor across the street said he felt shaking and the pictures on his walls rattled.

None of my dogs even seemed to notice. We are all very unobservant creatures, apparently!🤣

Hi,

I am looking to see how much people pay for their chicken permits in towns around Nj. I live in Woodbridge and they have recently raised our fee from $35.00 to $75.00 for 5 chickens. I am going to a council meeting to address this issue. I would like to know what everyone else pays and for how many. Thank you for your assistance. Also, if anyone else would like to join me in this chicken pursuit for my town, please reach out. TIA for your attention and information.

Permits? For chickens? Never heard of such a thing!

Wow, I've never heard of such a thing. Chicken permits, REALLY?!! Gawd, NJ really sucks! Come move to Bayville, it's like the Wild West here. You can have whatever you want.
